Croatian Journal of Fisheries
The Croatian Journal of Fisheries is an open access, peer-reviewed scientific and technical journal. It was founded in 1938 and has a long tradition of publishing papers on freshwater and marine fisheries. Topics covered in the Journal include ichthyology, aquaculture, all aspects of ecology and diseases of fish and other aquatic organisms, open waters, environmental aspects of fisheries, socioeconomics and other topics related to fisheries.
The Journal publishes articles that present original research, interpretations and topics of interest to the fisheries profession. The Journal’s ethical practices are based on the guidelines and standards of the Committee of Publication Ethics (COPE) and throughout the publication process the Journal will strongly encourage all participants (authors, reviewers and editors) to maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct.
